Mic Problems

Hey all, my mic works perfectly on Ventrilo, and CS:S.
But when I installed BF2, the section where I have to teset my mic, it worked perfectly fine.
When I got onto the game, it doesn't work.
I go into the options, click boost mic, test mic, I've tried everything except the really technical stuff.
It's like my mic isn't even there, when I click "Test Microphone", it comes up as nothing, the bar is empty.
Please advise.

That sounds silly, but that could definatly be the problem.

Alt-Tab and Unmute your Mic in the Volume Controls for Playback and record each time you join a server/map.

AH-HA! I knew it!

Look to the left of the game/server name, you will see a set of head-phones if the server supports VOIP...
