I can't tell you how many times I scroll for my Zip Line only to remember that I am playing BF2 not BF2SF. IT is disappointing that EA chose not to include this feature (and Grapple, flash and CS) into the regular game. It makes BF2 seem almost 2 dimensional. Imagine how killer it would be to scale or zip off or onto any building you want. Just my 2 cents
Let me know if I am beating a dead horse....

Well i dont think zip's and grapples bring much to the game IMO. karkand would be a snipers dream if we did have grapples though. You can use the flash bangs you get with the F2000 unlock in standard BF2 but not many people use them..... i whore them :)Comment

It would be a sniper's dream, but only if he teamed up with someone who actually had a grappling hook in their kit (sniper's have the zip for some reason), so you'd get a couple good groups, but for the most part I bet people would play like they play now.Originally posted by punch1985Well i dont think zip's and grapples bring much to the game IMO. karkand would be a snipers dream if we did have grapples though. Anyway, to the OP, I've been playing a lot more SF lately (kinda getting bored with vanilla) and I have to say that when I come back to vanilla after a few hours of SF, I'm a much better player because I am much more aware of my surroundings. I also notice that I'm more bored of the "linear" gameplay in vanilla.Comment

Word up.Originally posted by cheesewzI don't mind not having the zipline. I've played a good bit of SF and the thing I wish that vanilla had most are some of the smaller vehicles like the ATV. I love ripping around on the lil' fellers.
The ATV's are money.Comment

It would be nice (excluding flashes) but you have to remember this is an EA game, "there's no free lunch."Originally posted by HephaistionI can't tell you how many times I scroll for my Zip Line only to remember that I am playing BF2 not BF2SF. It will never happen. I think they need to fix the CTD and other stuff before they go making any more additions or changes.Originally posted by HephaistionI can't tell you how many times I scroll for my Zip Line only to remember that I am playing BF2 not BF2SF.
