Stop picking on peoples spelling on International forums. There is a good chance that they are typing in a foreign language to them. Especially if in their sig it says they come from Iceland (not to be confused with Ireland).
Can you speak a second language good enough to enter into a debate on a forum in it??
Rant over. Sorry it just gets on my tits when people do this.
Third language actually, Danish is my second language, since I lived there for 7 years of my childhood.

Aha! You forgot to use a capital letter in the start of the sentance as well as ending with a punctation.

I was just responding to his witty comment at someone else with my own to downplay it :). I don't usually indulge in grammar fascism but that was an opportune moment.

aaaaaaaaaanyway back to the original thread. To me the BF 1942 engine was superior in some regards, but the BF2 engine has its perks as well. Who knows what would happen, I guess we will just have to wait for FH2 to come out to find that out.
and I dont wish for a ranking sytem for it, iMO thats what made BF42 great, people played for fun, and not to gain rank IMHO

BF1942 using the BF2 engine would be awesome IMO. I'd definitely buy it. ONLY if they had no rankings, just as it was before. People actullay tried to win the round, not just gain points. How many hours my brother and I spent using stingers (DC Mod) at the South Outpost on El Alamein....
If they removed the ranking system from BF2 right now, I'd be happy!

DCX still rocks my world. That was a fun game, and you didn't need a $14,000 super computer to run it.
PS - Kudos to the guy from Iceland who can give and take with a sense of humor on a forum in a language that's not even close to what he speaks in everyday life.
I wonder how many of us could do half as well with Icelandic. Even if we were that drunk.
PS - Icelandic chicks are seriously hot. Send some to the USA!

There are many great advancements with BF2 that I like such as the way you take flags, squads, spawning, kit varations, etc., just to name a few. I really like the World War II theme of BF1942 and I miss some of the options (flying planes was a lot more fun for me in BF1942) and ships were great.

uhh. with the small maps, doesn't it get boring quickly :/
What does, Day of Defeat? Not really, action is really fast, being part of a team is critical. Unlike in BF2 where you can spend minutes running to where you want to get to and one player can own the whole map in the right vehicle.
