Had to re-install BF2 - how then do I get Euro Forces back???

OK - this is probably a stupid question - in fact I'm sure it must be as no one else has asked it!...

BUT -

I had to re-install my BF2 (after the 1.3 incremental - don't ask) - and then I sudden;y thought: "How do I indtall Euro Forces as I bought it as a download!"

Is there some proceedure for reclaiming EF from the EA site or something?

It should say on the downloader either: Ready To Download or Ready to Install.

If not...

It should be in the cache for the EA downloader, along with any patches/expansions that you have downloaded via the downloader.

It's usually at:

c:\program files\electronic arts\downloader(might be EA Downloader)\cache\

It should be in a folder there somewhere, shouldn't be too hard to find, unless of course you had to re-install everything on you hard disk, in which case I'm not sure.

i had to re formatt last night. to get EF back open the EA Downloader and it will say ready to install or download which wont cost, as you already paid for it

I have had to re-format my disk recently, so want to add back the (backed up) directories from C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache etc, which I burned to DVD (for EF and AF).

I have read several replies stating that you can simply copy the directories back - is that all there is to it or is there a setup file to be run as well to log AF and EF into bf2 ? The maps are there, just not sure if bf2 checks your entitlement befroe allowing play and then goes to the directories for the files).

It took a long time to download both EF and AF and if I can copy the files and quickly get back up and running I will happy bunny (especially as the new disk is a Raptor).

all you gota do is delete some registry keys i asked this question in some other forums but i duno what keys to delete.....

I must not have uninstalled right then, cus when I did it, and then checked on EF and Af, they both still said PLAY NOW, even though bf2 andd special forces were off my computer.
