Do all accounts get reset or only the one you glitch on?

I reported, recently, a bunch of glitchers that seem to have invaded the servers I frequent. Well, I noticed that some of the accounts have very low scores (less than 2,000).

Are people using alt accounts to glitch? When their account is reset do ALL accounts associated with that CD key get reset as well?


Do repeat offenders get their CD key banned?

I'm reasonably sure that only the reported account gets reset.
However, repeat offenders can have their accounts disabled. I'm not sure if this is via their CD key, or again, just the offending account.

However, has it occured to you that maybe the reason that these glitchers have low scores is because they've been reset recently?

This is the problem with using resets as a deterent. The cheaters/padders just go back to doing it again... more forociously since they have to make up for lost time.

Wargimp, if the account is disabled all the information of that account disappears? Even the name?
I remeber a Guy, I think his nick was Preserverance that had and amazing k/d ratio in knifes, and can´t find him anymore.
When I saw his kill stats with knife it was obviously a cheater (something like 650 kills in 35 minutes), but never thought that an a account could be deleted.

Exactly. So unless all stats and/or the account is disabled there's really no deterant.
