    how come?? (commander related)

ok if Im a commander i try to do my best to keep my team going, I drop a supply box next to people who are taking enemy's flags, I drop vehicles to lonely people in the middle of nowhere, I place UAVs every time they respawn(I try to cover two flags with a UAV if possible), I scan and point out enemies that I think my teammates should be aware of, if I use a mic I talk to squads and let them know if there are any enemies around them(that probably wont get me any points lol but anyways.......) ..............I usually end up with like 20 points or so, what am I doing wrong??

I dont drop arty if there are like 2-3 enemies around

It's not up to you, you can help your team to earn points, but actually your points reflect those of your team.

What means, your commander score is not defined by your efforts, but rather by your team's points. If your team makes a lot of points, you will too.

If you do nothing, you will earn points anyways.

To be exact about the scoring system, your command score is the average of the scores on your team (minus yourself and anyone with 0 or negivtive scores).

A couple extra tips for scoring well as commander:

As a rule of thumb, the less direct action you take as a commander, the higher your score will be. Every kill you make (via guns, arty, or cardrops) removes a ticket from the enemy team without rewarding anyone any points. The only time you really want to use your arty is when enemies are presnting a tactical threat (taking a flag, moving against a weak position, or very well dug in) or if your team is losing (in which case, blast away! Punch as many tickets as possible!).

The other thing to remember is that your score it based on the average of your team. If you wanna walk away with top spot (gold medal) you have to spread your commander TLC around. If you only have one guy doing most of the work, he's gonna beat ya in the rankings regaurdless of the X2. If you have a constant airwhore out there, chances are he's gonna beat ya... unless you've got some VERY effective ground troops.

Oh yeah... and if you want command points, winning is everything! Dismiss everything else I've said if you're facing a losing battle. Do whatever it takes to get that victory 'cause regaurdless of anything else, the X2 is the big deal.

i noticed when i had like only 25 points(for example) and 15 kills my points would go to 60 or something IF you win the match. If you dont, you dont get doubled points.

Yuo don't get points for kills as a commander.
              Period.

Sometimes funcky things happen with averaging or close to the end of the round that result in suprises in your finishing score.

Acutally the commander points are doubled, but this may be bigger than the 2x of your current score. This happens if you have negative teamscore:

                Eg.:
                30 commander points
                -8 team points

What appears as total score: 24 pts
                What you expect: 48
                What you actually get: 52 (30 * 2 - 8)

Play with better teams. I usually average around 70 commander points, sometimes as low as 30 sometimes as high as 150.
