Am i wrong thinking that i should be higher in rank since i have all the basic badges? Ive been this rank since 20k points and didnt realize it till this week that im pretty sure i should be ranked higher. If i should be ranked higher then how should one go about getting my rank fixed? here is a link to my stats and awards...

did u have all of the basic badges before u hit 20k because if u didnt u cant get first sgt rank now u have to wait till 50k for ur next rank
oh and good luck getting the good conduct medal took me forever to get it

Pretty sure i did have all the basics before i hit 20k. I was thinking maybe i needed to have all the basics in special forces or something as well as the vanilla but all the sources i check dont list that so thought id ask. So how would one go about getting this fixed? Obviouslly i need to contact ea i assume about getting this corrected. And yeah the dreaded good conduct is gonna be quite the task indeed.Comment

No, you dont need any spec forces badges before 20K to get 1st sgt. Once you are promoted, you either get master sgt or 1st sgt. There is NO way of going from master sgt to 1st sgt what-so-ever. Don't bother contacting EA because they don't care. You should have been here when they changed the rank system and forgot about a nice glitch that people got when they recieve the vet pistol badge at the same time as the basic...in other words it never saw you getting the basic badge so when you reached 20K you did not get 1st sgt. By the way for those that will try to say "but its only blah blah now"...well Im talking about the original rank system. Back then basic pistol badge was 7 pistol kills in a round. Vet pistol was global 50 pistol kills and 7 pistol kills in a round. See how it would easily be possible to get the vet badge at the same time?Originally posted by t7017s
regardless, you are stuck at that rank and cannot recieve 1st sgt. However you can get sgt major if you have all the basic badges by 50K points.
