Increasing your accuracy

Does shooting tanks, apcs, helis, or any other vechiles with pistols or guns that can't hurt the vechile increase your accuracy?

Good question.

I would guess that if you cant damage it, it doesnt count.

Small arms versus a HMMV or a Vodnik could count I supose but probably only if its got people in it...

Logging into a server as support and sitting at your base whaling ammo into an empty transport probably wont up your accuracy at all...

However, it could hurt it. If the game is tracking ALL shots then those thousands of rounds fired into thin air (or a transport) will count against your accuracy...

So the question should be, Are the only shots that count toward increasing accuracy ones fired at infantry?

Since AT accuracy counts shots on vehicles with the rocket, I would assume that any shot fired that does damage to an infantry or enemy occupied vehicle counts toward your accuracy stat.

A good thing to do, is just when waiting for something to spawn, dont stand there and shoot the sky or ground
