    How do they do it?

Was just looking at http://www.bf2stats.nl/ during my lunch hour, but particularly the leader boards. Methinks the decimal points are possibly in the wrong place (or maybe my maths isn't up to scratch) but the leader on the EA Rising Stars board - 9mmFullClip - managed to make 144,700 points in just over 33 hours of play. That works out at about 73 points per minute

But down to some real figures: further down the leader boards, someone else - dA|illusion - has a high score of 552. I'm lucky if I get more than 30. But then I'm old and crap :)

    Most likely, stat padding.

It is unlikely either of those two got their points legitimately.

Well really high points can be gained on a 16 man server running say 64man karkand, the game goes on forever. Expecially if you are commander and you get the 2x.

I was once commanger on SF, The Iron gator as on a 16 man server. I had to go AFK due to a fire alarm going off in my Uni digs......i came back an hour later to find me with a gold medal and 250+ points.

As for that many points in 33hours, two words: padder and stats.

I played a 64 man server for a good few rounds well into the early hours of the morning.

My last game that night was Wake and I eneded with just over 300 points. It only went on so long because people had been leaving the server as it got later and later (or should that be earlier & earlier) :)

Was quite early in my BF2 carrer so I ended up with about 5 badges in 1 round Even got airborne enough to get my Aviator & Helo badge. I suck as a pilot.
