Well sense I happen to be a lame 37 year old father of 2 and a member of promise keepers with 650 hours playing, I have to finally chime in on MOG.

there server kicks you for typing WTF, wtf or whatever wtf.

So if you get killed by a falling F-22 and type WTF, your entire game is gone. If someone on your team TK's you over and over then you type 'wtf' then you get kicked.

I guess the whole entire hypocrisy is there is some clan pretending to blow people to kingdom come under the guise of jesus-hood and adult men and then they then decide morality in this game that throws bodies 60 feet into the air only to hook on the edge of some building upside down.

Jesus and Christ in a FPS sure, try SIM XXXXX or perhaps Grand Tourismo on PS 2/3.

Morality in a BF2 server then you need all Medics and a mod w/o guns and perhaps we all have foam padded knives.\

Seriosly SIM-farm ladder competition is where I see you going to....

Men of Girly-men; I like that better..and it fits !!

My friend and I were having a similar discussion about the MOG server today. The hypocracy is a reflection of the views of society. Seems they can choose whats right and wrong themselves. You can knife someone in the crotch if you choose, but you can't under any circumstances say WTF in public.

Just for the record... I would have to send myself a warning were I to post my personal views on rampent hypocracy as it relates to self-richeous psudo-christian bible thumpers that use their church as an excuse to commit every sin they accuse everyone else of... especially intolerance.

So... I'm going to avoid ranting about it.

Just like I avoid playing on those kinds of servers.
Does that not seem like a logical cource of action?

I think it's funny.

Think about it... they are preaching about being 'men of god', or whatever... but they aren't very good at getting people to see their point of view. If you do something wrong, they eject you.

They aren't going to enlist many to their cause that way.

Being a Christian myself I think folks commonly take the faith of of context. Much like with Muslims. There are a select few nuts who take things "too far", well beyond the teachings of what Christ himself was trying to convey (Love, Compassion, Respect, and Loyalty to your brothers in mankind; to a degree). Same with Muslims, thus the Iraq war. A few nuts taint the entire Islamic ideal.

I think in this case those, using the faith of "MoG" as a bashing point, or their hypocritical nature (all christians are hypocrites; I myself included), is kinda' silly. If you take out the religious context, they are simply kicking you for violating a rule of theirs; no form of profanity. If you chose to violate that rule, they have a right to kick you. It seems that you have taken the outcome of your choice as a reason to scream, "Christians are Hypocrites" and vent.

...what really shocks me was that Wargimp stood behind you as if it's a valid point in any way. The simple response to your pointless rant, and uninformed insight, is, "It's their server, they have a right to make rules, if you violate those rules, you're kicked. As long as those rules don't violate the EULA or ROE, which they don't"

This whole thread justs seems like a pointless excuse to bash Christians; it's pretty sickening that is was masked, and taken, as anything less.

i remember the time there was an obvious hacker in the server n when i typed the word 'hacker' i got kicked for saying banned word.... i bet the hacker mus be darn happy to c me kicked.
