Loading Time Problems

Hey All,

When i am connecting a server(europe) it takes me about 5mins to load each map thats played on the server and i get computer lag for abit, when i have connected...

My computer specs are:

- Intel Pentium 2.80GHz
- 1.00 GB of RAM
- Nvidia Geforce 7800 GS OC
- Good internet connection speed

Surely my BF2 should run fine with no problems with that hardware ect...?

Any suggestions and help will be much appreciated!

well 2 gigs would help out alot even 1.5 will be a bit better! Just put in like 50 more bucks and your game will load a bit faster. or much faster depending on how much money you put in. 2gig, 3gig, 4gig ect.

Might be time to upgrade 1gig of ram just inst enough now days.

Thanks lads, think i will upgrade to 2 gig then!

Hey again, even though im going to upgrade to 2gig of RAM as soon as possible, i was just thinking, i know people with alot lower spec PC's then mine and they can connect to a BF2 server in under a minute... so it just doesnt make sense really why my BF2 takes 5mins to connect to a server, with the specs of my PC?

I'm still going to upgrade RAM, but would just like to know your thoughts about this?
