Yes, that is a long way to go...just imagine with the old rank system. I was a corporal when I made 10,000 points in the original system....lol lance corporal was like at 2500 or something. Anyway, don't worry about it, just play for fun and goof around, you'll get the rank in time and have fun doing it.

Hey crow how is that possible thats like 20-30 rounds a day if your averaging 100 a game!!! Thats impossible. I can see like an avarage of 50-80 points for like 5-10 rounds a day. Thats around 250-500 points a day on the average, not counting those days where you bust out playing 6-8 hours. But in 6-8 hours your only gonna see so many rounds.

Know what i've noticed when i see all the guys with high ranks? They're all tank whores and spawn killers.

Know what i've noticed when i see all the guys with high ranks? They're all tank whores and spawn killers.

And they ahve no life and play 7 hours a day.

I am on the long path from Master Sgt - Mastergunnery sgt, with a score of 27k, I have still a long way to go, After MSGT i might call it quits, plus im trying to cut back on games.

Actually, the really big guys are typically multiplayers... several people playing the same account.

play on karkand only or on huge maps with little player and you will reach 1st sgt in no time.

I remember that long journey from First Seargent to Seargent Major. But just think, after that your next rank up is only 10k away.

I'm on for another long haul too... from 61,000ish to 75,000. The 50,000 to 60,000 is so short, I was wearing that rank for about a week

me too!.. i don't know what it was about that rank, but i was not that rank for very long at all..

now i'm at like 62,500.. 12.5k to go..

Man o man. I've played this game quite a bit and im only to 8,000 points and you need to 20,000 til the next level! I'll never make it that far which sucks cause there are still a couple guns id like to unlock. How are some of you guys getting so many points? The way im figuring it, if I played a couple rounds a day for an average of 200-300 points that means it would take me about 2 frikkn months til i would get to 20,000 points damn!!!!!

Get someone else to log onto their special forces with your account. Then choose the Special Forces unlocks for the classes that you haven't got unlocks for.

The points come, but you need to put in the time and play hard!

Yesterday I played a marathon session of like eight hours to get the last points I needed for 1st Lt.

I earned 1,400 some odd points in one day to do it. My SPM is like 1.8 so obviously I don't do that on a regular basis, but it's easy if you are specifically going after points rather than normal playing.

I just got First Sergeant. I don't expect to get promoted again. I've had the game since last August and it's taken me this long to get to 20k. I think all the BF2 ranked servers will be shut down before I get to 50k!

I only average about four or five hours a week.
