You are stating that gamers with a faulty patch are causing server crashes? That does not sound feasible. That servers with faulty patches are crashing and having stablility problems is already known and being addressed by EA.
I think he is referring to the CTD that is caused by the incremental patch when some players are hitting "join" button after loading the map. This is client side and doesnt effect the server.
I downloaded both the incremental and full patch. I tried the incremental first... had all kinds of problems joining a server... then re-installed everything with the full patch... so far so good with the full version. I could get into one out of ten servers I tried without CTDing before.

no it isnt EA/DICE already released a post on there web site an also got shown here cleary stating that it was an up date to the gamespy an bf2 servers,
to work with the latest patch that was casuing the servers to crash an make errors.

all this has been posted by EA an shown in tbf2 forums from the 2nd day the patch was released,
it took 3 days for EA to release a post on the website saying what the problem was!
