How many of you can you play bf2?

I am having a problem, when i join a server then when the map loads it crashed to destop and i was wondering if anyone have the same problem.
Now i cant play bf2

Ya same thing happens to me...It finishes loading up the map, then the "Join Game" Box appears, then it just crashes to the desktop. So annoying. It's definitely a product of the 1.3 patch because I never had this problem before.

dont forget to use the search button, cause there are lots of threads on this, and yeah its happening to pretty much everyone

I've had no issues with any crashing during loading. I do recall someone mentioning that clearing their shader caches and re-optimizing after patching up helped them out.

I had this happen to me when I installed the 1.22 to 1.3 patch. I then installed the full 400+mb 1.3 patch and have been connecting fine.

Agreed... i was having the aforementioned CTD when the "join" button was pressed... uninstalled, and re-installed with the full patch... so far no problems.

It's got progressivly worce since patch night..

-Install patch, CTD. Fixed by replacing Profiles folder, later on had 2 random complete freezes, had to disconnect

5 CTD's over the weekend, 4 CTD's tonight

I might give up till the next patch :|:
