    I recommend Special Forces.

Euro Forces? forget it. It's just full of tanks and no one really plays it.

You can play this for two years straight and pay no more than what you pay for your internet connection. All these people whining about $10 for a booster pack obviously don't see that it costs LESS for a booster pack than it does for ONE month of playing any other major online game.

I think you've got that arse about face. It's the players who are willing to pay that cause the problem. They make a monthly charge for online play into a valid business model.

If everyone whined about the cost, and never subscribed to online monthly services then online play will always be free.

The consumer is their own worst enemy. Similarly if everyone also whined about BF2 features, bugs, balance, and stability and outright refused to buy any addons or sequels then the problems would get fixed. But this has already not happened, and not for want of trying on my part either.

Those who do part with the cash are perpetuating these problems.

I think it is worthless, but special forces is alright. Id rather get a hundred mods than paying for boosters.

All the new gadgets, maps, and modes (night, anyone?) make it almost a completely different game. Even unranked, you can find some amazing servers to play on (I love TG).

As for EF and AF, it's really a personal choice. They're less than $10 each, and add a few maps, vehicles, and weapons. A lot of them are really cool, and you can find some 24/7 booster pack servers running at any one time. If either one of them interests you (ie: the content seems cool), get it.

I agree with you on some points, but i could not recommend buying any booster packs after the SF shambles, theyve admitted themselves they wont support it( whats the chances of supporting booster packs? ) and they said SF cant be integrated with Vanilla, bull$****, look at the hacks in this forum to get SF on karkand, also you speak of RPG's, this point is irrelevant, online RPG's are dynamic, the developers are constantly adding new areas, modifying content depending on public use, its a full time maintainence/enhancement that you are paying for, the booster packs are static, sold and forgotten about!
