Helicopter Badge

I have been trying to get this badge for some time and no matter what I do I can't seem to get it in SF. Does anyone have any hints (other than I need to be in a helo for 15 min and kill 22 people :) )?

Also, since you can get vanilla badges by playing SF, can you get SF badges by playing vanilla?

I've been trying to get this but I rarely play SF but everytime I tried nope. I like my BF2 vanilla helis alot and im used to using them. Since on BF2 vanilla I know how to use the attack helis (all 3 of them and the tiger hap Euro copter) but on SF I just haven't used them really at all. I need the ribbon too but I want to get it by myself with no one helping me to get it like I got all my other badges/ribbons/medals.

But if you like I'll help you get the one on BF2 Vanilla, since I pilot 90% of the time.

I can't help much with the 1st one (I'm still tryin too!), but as for the 2nd, No; SF medals/badges/ribbons can ONLY be earned in SF (seems silly to me too, esp. with flash-bang nades)

I found it easy to rack up lots of kills in the chopper on Ghost Town. Head to a 24/7 Ghost Town server, and head to the Upper North/South Side as soon as the round starts. Grab the flag, then get a friend to pilot the chopper while you gun. As long as your friend is decent in dodging missiles, hovering, and pointing you at the occassional AA, getting the kills will be a piece of cake. And if the server is about half full, 22 minutes won't be too much harder.

I dunno Salad, AA seems to be a real bear on that map now...seems people have gotten wise to the chopper power on that map and have learned to camp that chopper pad.

Thanks for the help guys, but the BF2 Gods have smiled upon me today. I went into a 40 player Ghost Town and got the badge with 5 tickets remaining. I really want to thank JUHO-Emma for being my pilot.

I got mine by conincidence flying with a pretty good pilot on Iron-Gator. We kept raping the deck and shooting down the Hind so raking in kills was easy.

Find a good pilot on SF. Have him fly you around mass destruction (the other ones take a bit too long). If he's good enough he'll set you up for every shot and kill you'll need. Either that... or hop into a pilots seat yourself and carefully guide yourself along each area.

the only thing about SF is to not get too aggressive attacking the ground. you have no idea how many pilots I've seen crash cause they wanted that one extra kill.

i have it i got it a few days ago, but it was a long match, i got it on iron gator, if ur gonna do it i suggest iron gator or mass destruction

Mass Destruction is the best one to start learning SF choppers on... Ghost Town has too much AA and EVERYBODY gunning for choppers. Surge wouldn't be too bad either. Just go up to the guys waiting around and talk to them in the squad and be like "hey man, I'm trying to get some kills. I'm a deicent gunner and I just need a few kills for a badge and 15 minutes. Can ya help me out?"

Are there good helo pilots in SF? The past few days I've run into an unending string of goobers.From the guys who keep the nose too high, negating the TV missile to the selfish SOB's who stick the nose of the chopper out of bounds to kill me so they can fly alone and 'pwn'. (Sarcasm)

I tried your suggestion Bran, got ridiculed as a "Stat Padding Badge Whore".It was funny though, the guy telling me that was camping the upper north flag on Ghost in a BTR... :P
