Failure To Connect To Account Manager Fix!!
Hey everyone!
I know a lot of you are frustrated out there and so was I!!
I was having the problem where I could not login to the account server to play BF2 online.
I figured out how to fix mine and wanted to offer up what I did.
1. Uninstall everything.
2. Install bf2v off dvd....
3. did NOT patch....
4. Ran BF2v in unpatched state and retrieved my account
at this point i could get past the account retrieval page and it said somthing like loading account....
the game hung at this point but i said oh well i got a little further..
5. installed SF
6. installed 1.2 full patch
7. installed euro forces
8. installed 1.3 patch...
9. loaded up bf2v from play multiplayer online icon
at this point my online account was showing in the choose account menu.
loaded it up and all worked well...!!!!
i do have to try it for sf and euro when i get home tonight but it worked for vanilla!
