Jeep seat switch exploit?

So I was driving my FAV around on Oman looking for victims when I came across a squad of infantry. I did the only thing I could think of at the time which was to switch seats rapidly between the passenger gun and the big 50. cal. to avoid being shot at. I managed to kill a couple guys but it wasn't long until a tank blew the crap out of me. Anyone think this is kind of shady?

I think all seat switching should have a 3-second delay. This would prevent pilots and drivers from flying/driving to a location and then switching to a more powerful weapon, then switching back. This would remedy any jeep or helo exploits (ie., solo helo pilots, solo jeep drivers, etc). If you you switch seats, it should take 3 seconds for you to switch back.

Stop with the 'exploit' name-calling before someone coins a term for it (ie. flag-hopping, bunnyhopping, prone spamming, c4 chucking, squad hopping, squad cycling) and it gets the nerf!!

Seriously hasn't the game been damaged enough? Wasn't a better game when it first came out?

Just stop. Its a game. Its OK to switch seats.

I think being revived after being hit by arty if an exploit, I mean duh, you'd be dead.


On a serious note, no, and people that whine about it are just...whiners. It's a game, play and have fun.

I never felt this to be an exploit with the ground vehicles. A delay is a bit extreme, as it really doesnt take all that long to slide out of your seat and up into the turret mount. Besides, there is no way to select where you go when you first hop into a vehicle... no reason to add more code to something that already has enough issues that are more important to worry about.

I'm surprised that this is even being brought up, as the only issue I ever saw were folks that practiced the helo pilot/gunner switch to use the TV missiles.

Any time I'm driving a buggy, I'll hit the brakes and slide up into the mount to shoot at infantry or a helo.

Exactly what I'm thinking to many arse wholes are complaining for no reason about anything and everything and its really starting to do my head in.

No, I think it's perfectly fine and is NOT an exploit. To someone though it will be, and at somepoint it will be changed in a patch because some %*&#%#$ complained and got it changed. but no, it's not an exploit and whenever I am driving alone I do the same. As someone stated above, one rocket or explosive could easily take you out, so why is it such a big deal.

I love using the jeep or hummer. Roll in fire up some folks roll out do it again. Great for taking down helis also.

Sometimes i go back to the Demo for a few games. It's full of n00bs, but that adds to the fun.

No. Why would you even think that it's an exploit. Switching seats as been in the BF games since at least BF:V. I don't know about '42 because I didn't play it. But come on, Bitvomit. Every other day I see you post about something else being an exploit. It people with a mentality like you that has caused the game to be nerfed so bad it doesn't even resemble the game that I bought almost a year ago.

Of course I think this is because the pubbers are so worried about their precious stats that anything that might hinder their shiny new award or rank is bound to be a bad thing. EA ruined this game with the stat B.S. BF:V never had this many people bitching about something so trivial.
