BF2:SF Rank Glitch?

after i installed the 1.3 patch my rank is now at 100% bar and dosen't seem to increase or advance to the next rank at all no matter how many points i get. This is kinda weird because before the patch i wasn't anywhere near having 100% completing that rank.

My current rank is Master Sergeant, I have Special Forces and i've seen people with higher ranks so why aren't i progressing to First Sergeant (next rank) anymore? Is this a glitch? if so how do i fix it? anyone know? any help much appreciated.

You cannot advance to FirstSergent. In order to get that rank, you must have all your basic badge requirements met (see below) BEFORE you advance in rank. You already advanced, so you are basicly stuck. Sorry.

First Sergeant
• Basic Knife Combat Badge
• Basic Pistol Combat Badge
• Basic Assault Combat Badge
• Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge
• Basic Sniper Combat Badge
• Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge
• Basic Support Combat Badge
• Basic Engineer Combat Badge
• Basic Medic Combat Badge

you still can advance, but you cant get 1st sarg. since you didnt meet the requirements when you hit 20,000 points. you have to wait until 50,000 points for your next rank which will be Master Gunnery Sergeant if you dont have all your basic badges, or Sergeant Major, if you do have them.

yea but i had all of them awards as veteran before 20,000 points and im having the same problem. can you explan that??

You got your knife on April 6th. When was your promotion date? Also, you need that transport badge for Sgt. Major. Kick it out as it's only a time badge and is easy to get.
