If a tank is spawn camping, fight it. Dont sit there typing about how he sucks, grab some c4, or a A-T kit, and blow that sob up. Problem solved. :)

every uncap base is equipped with adequate defense. If people choose not to use it it's their own dayum fault. i hate games where i get stuck with a bunch of no teamwork having SOB's

I think that if there was going to be something like that, it should be a commander asset. Kind of like artillery or something, it can only be used for a short period of time and is just an automated system that shoots badguys until it's timer runs out. Plus you could blow it up with c4 for points...I just mention this since spec ops get ripped with only 1 point per asset the blow up...so more assets to blow up the better

I love how people who think base raping is ok, blame it on your teamwork. Those very same people have a horrible team score if you check their stats! Using that logic, the ones who claim you should have good teamwork, suck as being team players. That cracks me up. GG's Johnny teammate!

Seriously, before you start ragging on how someone else can't help a team win, look at your own team score. If your team score is less then 25% of your GS, then you are not being a good "team" player either.

The ability to rape a UCB, spawn camp and strafe airfields in a jet does not make you a good team player. IMHO it makes you sad because you can't excel unless you are taking advantage of helpless players.

Go easy on people who think game play should have some level of ethics in it.

The most simple way to implement "protected" uncaps would be to have asymmetrical out of bounds. Each time would get boundries that cover the battle field and their own uncap.

            *poof*

            No more uncap caming.
Can you imagine how badly EA/DICE would screw that up?

Oh noes! The game's using the wrong out-of-bounds for me, arrrrgh! -death-.

While that's unlikely, they'd probably mess up the out of bound lines :<

Well said. I play SF mostly and it is very easy to be locked down on some of those maps fast at the start of the round depending on what team you are on and things like how quick peoples comps are for the first map load etc. There are alot of experianced people these days, they know the spawn points and where to park so they kill everything and you can do stuff all about it when they do. I also enjoy those who bring out the noob calls, although a generalization it never surprises me when it turns out they are the game play exploiters

Re: EA should implement this to prevent ppl from attacking uncappable flags like carriers

Rather than putting together some convoluted system to avoid so-called base raping, why not just get rid of all uncappable spawns? That way if a team is totally outmatched then they can be put out of their misery quickly.

When I've been on the business end of an uncap baseraping it's always been because the team I was on just got out-played, and usually very quickly. With evenly matched teams it is an unsustainable tactic. There are a couple of maps where early actions set the mold for a painful round. For example, not getting off the carrier on Wake or not being able to get one of the attack choppers on Ghost Town. But good teams will know how to position themselves so those things don't happen.

For those that cry out in anguish about uncap base-raping, I feel your pain. Have been there more than a few times. Nobody likes it. But would you rather that DICE come up with some sort of magic zone or temporary globe of invunerability around spawners? They can't even fix the red-blue tag bug which has been around basically forever. A better solution would be to just get rid of any uncaps altogether.

raping is a part of war. Why let that helo or jet off the ground to go kill your troops? Negative, just kill them when they are down.

I agree with you totally, but I also hear the other side of the argument too. If they removed uncaps then the point would be moot. You could just take the last base rather than punishing the spawners. Game over, move on to next map. Makes more sense to me than magical zones or the like.

I see both sides as well but if you want to prevent their vehs going anywhere whats wrong with using C4 and mines? I suspect the answer is there is risk involved with doing that and your K/D might be effected as a consequence. Personally thats the best reason to go in with kit gear it makes it much more exciting and make no mistake if my team has you trapped in an uncappable base I will go in and try and whore you for kills with no regrets.

Cheesewz I can see your thinking on that but until balanced teams are part of the equation as well it has to many risks. I personally don't want to be raped for many games in a row because I was unlucky enough to be on a less experianced (or maybe less skillful) team. That combined with the fact I'm so stupid I refuse to teamswitch and will fight until the bitter end just makes it a waste of my night and not fun which is the reason I play in the first place.

Like you, I refuse to teamswitch to get a victory and will fight to the bitter end even in a losing cause. My K/D and W/L suck, and I could really care less. There was awhile there when I was playing Moders Ghost Town and always ended up on the weak team that got hammered. So I just found other places to play where I could have a better chance of ending up on a decent team. There are those couple of maps which lend themselves to an unbalanced situation if the teams are a little out of whack.

I'm still in favor of eliminating all uncaps...

It would be nice to see the Essex guns have better survivability or range. Artillery splash damage or a J-10 needs about 1 second to destroy either Phalanx gun. How can we defend ourselves now? Wait a minute or 2 till it respawns, maybe wrench for 20 seconds till the J-10 comes back to blow it up again? The jets can destroy the guns before you can get a lock, also why dont jets show up on your map if you are in the essex guns.

I agree that the Essex CIWS should have more armour, but base raping should not be prevented.

And to whoever said that if your team score is 25% or less is not contributing to their team... get your head out of the sand.

Contributing to the team can extend further than capping flags and handing out bags of lollies.

In a middle of a war are they going to say "oh you cannt attack that because they dont have enough skill to defend themselfs"?
