What the crap. I have to unlock all the primary weapons before I can unlock weapons like the g36e...etc. I thought you could unlock the 2nd from the group as long as you unlocked teh first. I was so frustrated I did upgrade later. How do I choose my upgrade?

Yes.
You have to unlock the weapons in order. You cannot have the 2nd without already having the first. There is a small square with arrows on the weapon/kit selection screen. Push it.

You were correct in your assumption. You need only the first unlock of a kit and SF installed (and you must have logged in through it) in order to unlock the second unlock for that kit.

For example, say I own SF, and I have unlocked the L85A1 for the medic. When I have unlocks available for me, I will be able to chose the G36E.

It has been discovered that if someone who owns SF logs in through your account and plays a round of SF, you will have the unlocks available to you.

if u get special forces u get 2x the number of unlocks ...so its not really extra work to unlock the second unlock
