Help with login to account server!

Hi all!

I can't logon to the BF2 account server. The game hangs and I have to reset manualy.

Heres the strange thing, if I load up the game via Gamespy Arcade it works just fine to login. I have tried to reformat and reinstall but to avail. Now I don't want to have gamepsy arcade so I can't play my game. Hasn't anyone else experienced this?

1 try another reinstall
2 could be your internet connection
3 could just be the ea server playing up

thanks for the effort to help me. I have already tried that though.


I have reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled. No luck.
I have disabled my firewall, nothing.

It hasn't worked for some days now.

Like I said earlier. Before I reformatted I had gamespy and when launched via gamespy it worked, same login screen, but it worked. But when I treid just launching the game it didn't work, could not logon. So I reformatted and reinstalled it but still can't login to my account.

My other online-games work such as BF:Vietnam and Day of Defeat.

So no one has any idea or have been subject to this themself. Very strange. No hope for me playing again since I don't know what to change since it just stopped working. BF2 of my HD then.
