We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
They turn a blind eye to everything from TKing to people taking you Out of Bounds with helos. They have absolutely no desire to administrate their server and in fact seem to encourage the abovementioned type of behaviour. You've been warned...
I guess it's similar to having an admin not there...
I thought that initially, but after a few more minutes, I became convinced that those guys were "return customers". When you think about it, makes perfect sense: they're allowed to act like retards... hell, encouraged, so why not come back for more?
In any case, there are far better servers to play on. Raging Rebels being one of them. :)

To be fair to these guys its not easy to admin. I'll just give some of you an admins perspective.
For some reason players think we have some magical kind of admin software that allows us to see every single player and what they are doing. Well we don't we can only see what other players can see nothing more nothing less. In our case we don't have 50 pairs of eyes and its impossible to know everything that goes on. However we have working Battle Recorder, which does see everything that goes on and can be used to kick or ban a player after they think they have gotten away with it. You can make a report about a player in our forums with a quick frapsed vid of the incident along with their name and we will deal with it.
We operate on the basis if we don't see it with our own eyes we can't take "instant" action. By this I mean we can't kick someone on the spot based on what another player tells us. Unfortunately players tend to lie more than they don't to try and get someone kicked. You wouldn't like to be kicked because someone was making up some BS would you? Also due to the ROE and the people who like to rush off and try and seek revenge we need to be careful in our decisions.
Also having said that we need help from the players to admin well. Its no point saying kick such and such without giving us a reason as to what they may have done. This happens all the time. What we do when we get a report is suicide, follow the player around in chase view. If they tk'ed for a jet for example then if they did it once they will do it again, we will catch them in the act, they will be banned permanently for doing this on our server. Its a little easy now to make an on the spot decision using modded localization files though, ie tard tk's [M95] innocent party, then see in BF2CC the tard is flying the jet. 1+1 in this instance usually makes 2. If they broke a rule like attacking uncaps without all flags first then we do the same suicide follow the player around. Usually even if we don't have a name we can soon find out by following the jets around. Or by just idling in the uncap it happened to.
As you see its by no means easy being an admin so maybe these guys work on the basis they need to see it with their own eyes.
Lol, wow I play there quite a bit. I actually like it cause its not super cushy. I played there tonight and Im guessing you did as well, wonder if I played ya =D
I like the server fine, its almost always hopping and when they have most of their clan in there it can get pritty intense =)
