Yes you read right, this is the solution to all our needs:

DICE should do:

1. fix the bugs that were in the game since it came out or were introduced with some crappy patch (that includes also the just annoying stuff - i.e. the changing mini map zoom when one spots something).

2. make all "improvements" (i.e. anti squad hopping, no unlocks for unranked servers, anti ABR stuff, vehicle dropping, ...) a server side setting and let us choose our "vision" of how this game should be!

3. fine tune the balancing

4. leave the gameplay alone

So we all could be happy and this game could be what we hoped it to be - a new decade for FPS! Further they would save their reputation they builded with BF 1942 & BFV instead of pis*ing everyone off!

PLEASE: if you have some connection to DICE pass this on to them and talk them into doing this (IndianScout ?! - PLEASE !!!).

Yeah, I wish they would do that as well. The fact is DICE and EA are out to make money, not listen to the community.

I had no problems with patch 1.2. Also the whole vehicle drop is wrong, only way it could work is if it is dropped with in 30 metres of a squadleader not on runways or choppers taking off. Also maybe make it when choosing to drop arty it cannot be dropped on an uncap flag so that way a team can spawn with out arty on them and promote fairplay. Maybe when the cursor goes over an uncap flag it changes to a cross?

lol - i agree that they probably will never be able or willing to do this. So the emphasis is on the 2nd point (although it shouldn't be the 2nd point if its the most important ) .
