    Game will not open 1.3

    I have been looking around the forums but havent seen my exact problem
    I installed bf2 then installed 1.3 full, but when i go to start the game the splash screen is displayed but then the game never opens but BF2.exe is running in the background using 50% cpu (dual core proc) the game has opened before after 10 minutes of bf2.exe running at 50%. any suggestions, thanks for you help

    AMD X2 4400+, XP hotfix, AMD drivers
    ATI X1900XT, Cat 6.5

    worked fine with 1.22

      Hmm interesting...another 1.3 problem!

      Have you tried reinstalling?

          No, but i will try it, but the thing is i just reformatted my pc and installed bf2 then 1.3 full

          edit: well it seems the reinstall fixed it i dunno why casue i just installed it less than 2 days ago thanks for the help Tren, im looking forward to all the other problems
