G36E Thoughts

I am thinking of new weapons to unlock since I can unlock one. I have unlocked the G3, L85, and G36. I mainly use medic, to rack up the points really, and was wondering how was the G36E from firsthand experience. How does it compare to the L85 in your opinion.

There are few posts floating around about the G36E, I use it almost exclusively, In comparison with the L85 its a vast improvement in middle to long range shooting, its more accurate, especially on Semi. it does have a bit of a learning curve with it in CQC, but it has a similar feel to the M16 in this respect, just make sure you have decent FPS when using it in CQC! :)

G36 is deadly accurate and im sure you will love it. Deffinately worth the unlock. I pulled off my first 75+ pts round the round after i unlocked it

You have to remember the g35e unlike the l8 is a burst fire gun not an auto. If you don't like burst guns don't unlock this guns. If you like burst, this gun kicks ass.

you can hit people between the eyes with the G36E, easily the most accurate out of all the assualt rifles.

3 round burst is brilliant, far better than full auto any day, allows you to control your shots better.

Close quarters could be a prob, youll just have to keep your distance.

If you can click fast, you dont need full auto IMO. I can empty the G36E prolly just a second slower than a full auto weapon.

Excellent accuracy for medium/long distance, but I just hate the burst mode in close combat and it always gets me killed. Not that I can't click fast, but since I don't use it that often, I usually forget that's not auto and I'm dead. I prefer L85 when playing medic, because I shoot bursts when zoomed on a far target, and it does almost as good as G36E, but I definitely like the full auto better in close combat.
If you only play medic I guess that's the only one left to unlock, but I would suggest giving theother kits a chance too and picking up the rest of the badges as well.

The G36E is, essentially, a fully automatic sniper

I can not unlock the P90 since I haven't unlocked the revolver type right? You have to go in the unlock order. Is the P90 overall better then the G36E? Also how does it compare to the F2000, that is another option.

I completly agree, although in laggy enviroments, it can give you a disadvantage.

I would suggest giving theother kits a chance too and picking up the rest of the badges as well.

Yeah hes also got a good point, I played medic pretty solid for my first 100 hours of game play, (apart from getting basic badges), when I got around to my veteran i had so much fun with the other classes, if you only play medic, you can miss out on a lot of fun.

That's right, the last one I'm giving a chance now is sniper, and so far I'm having fun with it. I was avoiding this kit forever thinking that apart from the good k/d ratio, it can't get you many points.

The F2000, just encourages people to use the GL in every situation, its a good gun, not hugely accurate, I can't see any advantages of it over the AK-101 but it does have an advantage over the M16 being that it is fully automatic, but if you generally play as medic then go G36E, but depends on whether you can cope with the burst.

You have so many unlock to chose from and you are considering among few only? Speaking about F2000, the above post was correct, and besides G3/AK's is all that assault class needs. But think about G36C, PKM, DAO, Jackhammer, MP7, M95/L96.....
Come on man don't disappoint me.

They're both equal in my opinion... 3 rounds kill + scope is the enney's advantage, but the g36 holds tight groups in fast succession in 3 round. Depending on the map, my route, my mood and how well i'm doing will be my deciding factor. I wouldn't unlock anything else if you use the medic alot. Try the DAO too, it's sexy and will balance out that kit
