Modifying Unlocks

When I modified the unlock.py file(C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats or *somthing*Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats) and when I changed it to "1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1",everything in the file change into Squares( Like this: [] but slightly different) and I'm currently using the 1.3 Patch. The "Backup" I made, did that...

I'm pretty much either: I get the same file which would be hard or I re-install BF2 and download and patch BF2 with the 1.3 patch or lower

Note: I did "1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2" and "2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2" before the 14 1s.

uh, I didn't think this was possible anymore, to modify the code to get the unlocks to pop up. I knew you could do it with the demo, but I thought EA fixed that with the 1.2 patch.

To be on the safe side, just reinstall your game. Even if you get a hold of a copy of the file you messed up, replaced it, and hoped it works. To me, it would seem easier to just reinstall the game.
