Cant we remove the red tag from a prone sniper? Specialforces dont show up on UAV why should snipers have a red tag confused:

This is first time I'm hearing that special forces don't show under the UAV. Are you sure about this? If it's true, I support the idea about the sniper too, because lately this whole thing with dropping vehicles on snipers is just ridiculous.

To my knowledge all players show up on both UAV and Scans.

I reckon uav's and scans should just show moving targets. Things that dont move shouldnt show up...

I think in development Spec. Ops were not on radar but they removed that feature before release

That sound right, because I've been commander for 200 hours and I don't remember ever anybody not showing on UAV including specops. I got worried for a second thinking how could I have missed that for so long.

I am pretty sure a Spec-Ops that doesnt move will not show up on the UAV. If the Spec-Ops moves they will show up, but if they just stay in one spot and dont move they wont show. At least it used to be that way...

ok let me set the record straight.....

EVERYONE SHOWS UP ON UAV...

running...prone.....crouching.....etc you all show up as a nice big red dot.

I agree with the idea that snipers should be off the radar if they are prone, but so many times one team has wiped the other off the map and all thats left is a camping sniper it would be such a pain in the arse to find him if he didnt show up on uav.

I think you should be able to select it as part of your load out...Ie you could spawn with claymores but show up on uav no matter what.....or no claymores but dont show on uav when prone.

Thats a great idea. Ive been spotted countless times by some soldier randomly scanning the hillside to see my bright red name

I think it was either in devolpment or EA was thinking about it, but yeah you would need to have a failsafe like

all flags = captured = snipers show up

I think that what he was talking about was SpecOps not showing on the minimap when you verbally spot them, but everything shows under the UAV/sat scan.

trhe only thing that doesn't show is a non moving spec ops player
