    Re: Battlefield Boycott Day

Hmm, if no one logs into BF server, how we gonna know if the boycott is working? When I dropped off last night the user count had dropped from 32K to 25K users.... I wonder how many are on today.

          Co-op??????

umm, what about co-op, does that count? i tried cutting on special forces the other day, which was the first time in over 3 months. well, before cuttiing it off i decided i would try and see if sf had coop, and you know what... it did. odd how vanilla doesnt, but sf does, maybe they are in conflict with each other.

so what's the official, can i play with myself on coop during bf2-bday?

I support this too. I managed to fix the ctd's (temporarily?), but the server and connection problems need to be fixed along with all the other glaring issues. Who needs flying jeeps when the servers crash several times an hour?

                    Hey it's my first post!
I remember joining in with the boycott of COD2... It made a difference in that the developers realised to what lengths the community would go to, to campaign for more support (I remember seeing hundreds of servers empty), but it didn't make the devs post that much more, or the patch come quicker. I'm just wondering if DICE and EA will take much notice - I hadn't heard of this before today, the day of the boycott.

                    Well, I hope it works...

Not sure why you are Boycotting it as they are trying to address the problems, its been stated on the official page.

Approx. 1200 servers have people in them some full some not so full so I can say this number will only get bigger being its a Saturday.

Yeh everyone should stop playing, just gunna go "check my rank."
If you think that this will stop EA screwing the game up think again, the only way to make em stop and think is to get everyone to shut down their ranked servers! That way EA lose hell of a lot of money!
An if you own a server and lock it your just wasting your own money! Your still paying for it!
