theyre trying to fix it. Maybe they should just stop trying to patch the game, if you feel this strongly about it.

make a boycott 2142 website. that will get the corporate execs looking. i wouldnt recommend trying a boycott EA product organization, considering they got their fingers in everything. idk, even if 2142 gets rave reviews and perfect stability, im sitting it out. gonna let FH2 make bf2 fun again, and ride it to eternity.

Well if ASE gives any indication, EA doesn't need BF2-bday to tell them they blew it. I am getting less than half the live servers (700) and seeing also less than half the usual number of players (2000 on a Friday night). Maybe my settings are weird, but this is a really big drop in just a few weeks.

Well, you know I never upgraded to 1.3 so now it seems like ASE is just the thing. :|:

Thx for the link, though. Which monster corporation to blame for ASE not working with 1.3, EA or Yahoo?

                    Definitely boycott BF2.

Probably a good idea to keep boycotting it until 1.31 comes out anyway. Why waste time playing when the server crashes every other round that the client doesn't?

That would be the ASE devs for deciding not to continue the project.

I can't even load bf2, it goes black and then ctd everytime. Ill have to uninstall/install , and install all those "patch's", they might as-well call them "bugpack.exe", got a clan match today too.

I'll be playing. And I bet most people will do. You seriously think this is going to work? Boycotting a game for 1 day? Why would this draw the attention of EA if you "anti-EA" people say they don't care?

                            no need for boykott? http://www.ea.com/official/battlefie...yupdate_060206

ps.: I love underpopulated servers :p ... btw I dont think more than 15% of the BF2 players actually know anyting about the boykott.

                              Re: Battlefield Boycott Day

It doesn't really matter if it succeeds or not today. EA has admitted they have seen the complaints on the 'boards, so they've got a pretty good idea how ****ed off we are.

Anyway, I've made my mind up that I will not be buying another Battlefield game and that's that. No, I don't suppose you'll miss me, but I won't miss you either!

I am looking forward to Quake Wars, Armed Assualt and UT2007.
