Great if you have the "legit" CD's then you should be able to use another CD key to install the game if you have proof that you actually own the game. I misplace CD keys all the time, well there cases anyway cause I put all my games in a folder.
By all means you shouldnt play online with the "CD key" but if its only for offline play then there is nothing wrong with it.
