Mods are confusing me

Hey what mods are actually available to download and play?? there are so many updates and hotfixes i dont know what the hell is going on!! Is there actually a mod out that i can play or what? other then UI and.. that other stupid one oh project reality. (unless youre into that kind of stuff)

USI, Project Reality, I belive OPk has a realease. theres also quite a few smaller mods around.

Project Reality hasn't released the 0.35 version of the mod yet. The old one, 0.3, does not support the newest 1.3 patch from EA.

oh, deadly! Thanks! I dont know about you guys but Im not a big fan of the 30 second respawn in project reality.. i mean.. come on.. sure you can eliminate the crosshairs and do what you can to make it "real" but why wait 30 seconds to get back in?? the helicopter is cool and all, but the only reason i dont play it is cause of that 30 seconds! What do u guys think?

Which is the best mod so far? or which will be the best? I cant wait to play DC!!!

Its all about getting the right balance, you see the thing is PR isnt suposed to be an arcade game like BF2, if you run in the open you will die and it just a deterant. 30 seconds isnt that bad really ive played games that last up to an hour. If you do die, that 30 seconds is always a good time to plan your stratagy.

PRMM 0.31 will be comeing out in a couple of days I belive, as well as fixing the bugs 1.3 caused theres quite a few tweeks.

Not any more. EA deliberatly killed ABR with this new patch although they do have a fix they have not realeased a new version yet.

Just a note though there are no "official" ranked servers, that is they dont affect your BF2 rank. Not that they would if it was offical anyway, its a mod == a different game from BF2.

IMO you shouldn't spawn for the whole round, but thats just me. I'm used to playing games like America's Army and such, and normally all that extra time spent doing nothing I can grab a nice little drink, watch the televison or something. Either that or plan my next move once I spawn. And trust me, 30 to 45 seconds is nothing. You can wait up to 3 to 5 minutes on CS, sometimes 10 minutes on AA.

Other than that, I think PR places value on your life too. Stay close to your squadmates (hopefully one of them is a medic) and don't do anything stupid (such as going Jihad Jeep).

Thats why I don't play AA or CSS. If I wanted to sit around and watch TV instead of playing games I would.
