I totally agree that P90 is much better than MP5 and the chinese SMG that was probably designed during the WWII, but I'm just saying that so far I haven't had good luck with it. In fact I've done better with the PP-19. I'm not saying that is bad, simply that was my experience so far. Maybe once I learn how to use it, it'll do better. Bottom line, I would still take the DAO out of all, even though it's a close combat weapon. I've been able to snipe long distance target with the Eryx/SRAW so far.

I use the DAO if I know enemies are going to be up close. I've gotten a few medalas going just DAO and AT all round on Warlord. The pp-19 is inferior to the P90. Next time you use the P90 take these tips: 1. It's not good for long range, a pistol is actually more accurate at med-long range (not too long). 2. Single round is good, and it can be clicked fast (not that much deviation/recoil), but it takes 8 hits on armored infantry... go for headdies. 3. Next time you encounter a victim medium range go prone+zoom and while in full auto click 3 times on his chest releasing about 3-4 rounds per click (dont have to hold down that long at all..) it's pretty accurate at this speed and after your third click you should have dispersed enough bullets in a tight pattern that the biatch should have dropped.

I will have to agree with you 100% Tobacco! I used the P90 alot in 1.2, but since 1.3 I also have not been able to put it down. I am getting kills with it now that I could never get in 1.2. It just seems strange that this is happening just because they fixed the animation and sound to reflect its true 900 rounds per minute fire rate. Just last night I shredded 4 enemy soldiers trying to get me off their flag, in a matter of seconds they were all laying belly up!

I think they just fixed the animation sound. The changed the fire rate from 600 to 900 in a previous patch, but forgot to change the sound animation accordingly.

The fire rate was 900 before 1.3 patch and it is still the same after the patch.

I only unlocked the P-90 two days ago, and didn't use it until today, for a very brief period of time (actually I picked it up off someone I think) and it kicks ass I love the noise, and I managed to nail three people in Short to medium range before I bit it, I'll be playing with the P90 more often, good gun!

For close in infantry work, the G3 is king... but if you need to be able to hit tanks too, can't go past this.

Isn't that silly though? ANTI TANK , shouldn't be able to mow thru infantry. I don't understand what the hell EA/DICE are doing.

It's exactly the same as it was in 1.2, they just finally fixed the sound. It is a nice little gun though, though it is still not quite as cool as the MP7 IMO.

Agreed! I remember reading something before 1.2 that they were gonna tweak it, but then I also remember how they messed that up Seems like(IMO) they finally got something right that I like.

Go buy it. I'm not sure how many servers out there are running SF(not many that's for sure), and unless you have a Pretty Good CPU your gonna get frustrated with the performance. All in all, my opinion is you're paying $30 bucks for 6-7 unlocks, assuming you reach Sergeant Major. If $30 is like a case of beer to you, then by all means go get it, if it's a weeks worth of Kraft Dinner I would pass.

I tried the P90 last night and didn't notice any real diferance. I think i'll stick with the DOW12 and it's n00biefull spam style shootin unless i plan on camping in the middle of no place.
