DCon who play this ?

For those who plays Desert Conflict mod, is it the official version ?

On totalbf2 main page it says CTF 0.23 out.... is this the one I should download to install DC or there's another installation before ?

It says CTF is here .... does this mean it's DCon ? the file is only 94mb weird... PRMM is 700mb...

anyway I just want to know all the file I must download in order to play DCon.

EDIT : Oh well, I had the answer for all those question on the DCon forums.... someone can delete this post before everyone think im a dumb

If you don't play mods then why did you post in here? and if you don't wanna help then don't post in here also.

CTF= Catch the flag!

Ok. You go into the download section of Total Battlefield 2. Find the folder with the mods in, then find the folder with mini-mods, find the folder with Desert Conflict CTF.
Download Desert Conflict CTF v0.2 and then download Desert Conflict CTF v.0.23 Client
Install v. 0.2 first and then v. 0.23 Client file.

Without desert combat(a mod) battlefield 2 did not exist!

just download a mod you think you like
And install, hit the icon and enjoy lots of new maps, weapons etc etc
hurry, before you know it
EA is squeezing mods to nothing

Ok, DCon (or Desert Conflict) is working on a full mod conversion of the BF2 engine for the 91 Gulf War era.

But, before they got all the maps done and all the models done, they put out a 'mini mod' for BF2 that added the CTF gameplay mode, to the original game's maps/vehicles.

The .23 is just this CTF mode for BF2, and is more a code test than anything else. In a few weeks/months, they will have the full mod out (probably 400-800MB) which will be using the BF2 engine to play "their" game of the Gulf War.
