For good sakes just go anti tank it only takes 2 hits and the apc dead all the people that complain about things needing nerfed just need to change there kit every now and again to anti tank instead of playing medic to get loads of points or have infanite life (self healing).

im not a medic for the points i acctually like to help my teamates man, and acctually HAVE FUN instead of saying f*** off team i go my own way and ruin it for everyone

Clearly you must play Karkand too much where everyone seems to think that when the armour roles up to spawn cap its a good idea to spawn as a snper or medic so they can then run at them with a knife

I mean gettin killed by them once or twice is enough just spawn somewhere else as AT and come back for them

As for being a good medic thats far enough but when theres armour just spawn AT at least to get rid of the armour

almost right. ive had a lot of bad rounds. all im saying is that whenever i see apcs, their beign used as tanks. if they powered down the guns, then maybe mroe people would use them as APCs again. the spalsh damage on them i the main problem.

alos, on karkand, 3 engis got in the 2 apcs and one in the tank, and they could not be killed

and this is the first thing ive whined about since bf2 was released, its still the best game out. its jsut annoying when you cant hide form an apcs splash damage

The 3 engys would make it very difficult if not impossible to take them out on ur own so you could hope for some help if any other person is smart and spawns AT with you, becuase on most maps you cant relie on your armour to attack theres as they seem to have a rule of you dont shot me ill not shot you and we can both spawn rape together

Also on Karkand all that happens most maps is a lot of grenades and claymores until the armour makes it from the MEC base to spawn rape

You know what i hate more than a lame APC camper. A APC camper that doesnt load up the apc to help his team and just takes off with a empty apc.

Dear spawn camper.

If your gonna take a apc, please wait until you load some troops in to you can get them to the front line to help the team. Dont be a asshat and take off cause you wanna lame it up for 30 seconds before a AT rocket gets shoved up your a$$ cause you had nobody to watch your back. Never leave a man behind.

Armored Personnel Carrier

You are confusing them with trucks or Humvee's which simply transport troops.

The principal is that when close to the action, the infantry dismount to protect the APC and the APC supports the dismounted troops.

Watch Iraq footage where they think there are bad guys in some house 200 yards away. They pretty much level the house with armor then send in the troops to find body parts, not the other way around.

This is a combined arms game where you play a variety of kits to counter the other team. For example; 5-10 MEC AT mines at the chokepoint on Karkhand pretty much stops their armor while 2 AT missile guys pound into the halted armor and the commander drops arty on them and their crates.

Obviously there are 2 wide options for US to counter a strong MEC defense.

APC's are weaker yet can help repair Tanks and have created the 2 engy's side by side rape fest. The counter to this is to focus everything on the weaker APC then destroy the solo tank. There is a counter to everything in this game short of the J-10 some would argue.

More importantly; play maps that support how you want to play. I don't really play any air maps. There are several 16 player map "infantry only" servers where if you hop in armor to play, you will pretty much get vote kicked instantly.

APC stands for:
armoured personal carrier. but how often are they used for that. their gun is better at killing troops than a tank, which makes them so good at spamming, as it is so hard to hide from them.

in 2142, the apc sriver only has a machine gun, which is MUCH better. if apcs do have a gun, then the passengers should use them. the apc atm are abused so mcuh- an explosive machine gun? cummon!

i think APCs should be used like armoured personal carriers, not tanks
