Okay, it seems that MMORPG games have something overall BETTER than FPS games and other sorts of games. Even though some may argue the OTHER way is better, I belive the MMO way is. Patching.
When you boot up an MMORPG, and there is a new patch, it automatically downloads and installs itself. letting everyone get on together and play. this works almost flawlessly. if the server is down so you cant get the patch, it doesnt matter because no one will be able to play.
when companies fix flaws and release patches that people have to find, download and install, its just hard and can be very very confusing. FEAR and BF2, remind you of it... but still... I just think people should build them in, its much better and easier.
