    Do not know what to do after patch 1.3... words of a junkie.

    i admit it. i am a bf2 junkie. Since the demo i am hooked and i play it 2-4 hours a day. i became addicted but i did not loose controle.

    i play this game when i have some time off and it's the only game i play.... until patch 1.3..

    i can not believe what has happened here and for the first time i experience the same thing as other people have been experiencing with products of EA....

    the game is now changed so much and is out of control at the moment.
    from 1 day it's over and the game is literly changed into game which is going downhill 100 %.

    servers i go on crash so much and also my client can not hold it longer then 1 hour. i did everything from patch to full download but it does not change a thing.

    even when i can play without a crash from me or the server i feel the gameplay is now gone...

    so i paid for this game and for 1 year i digged the patches but now....

    i even called with EA in the netherlands but they can not comment on bf2 because that is forbidden. They said they got too many complaints and threaths from people that ea has forbidden them to speak about it. as the employee explained me before he hung up.

    i have a life so before the troll posts come up... but i like to play bf2 and it seems to be fading away now due to the issues.

    i really hope that everything goes back to 1.22 but i doubt it.

    i learnt one lesson here and that is i will not buy any product from ea again.

      If this is the only game you've played for the last year, then this might be a good thing for you. Try playing something else until its fixed. There are many other wonderful games out there for you to discover.

          i know i have been playing cs till cs source before bf2 and when i played the bf2 demo i knew i was waiting for this game.

          unfortunately i lost all interest in other games besides bf2. it feels like a bad dream what ea has done here. 1 year and it's over. it seems they put a 1 year warranty on most of their games. i'm still hoping that they are going to put the gameplay back as it was but i highly doubt.

          why is ea so arrogant. i can not believe it. they do not believe in the players just in there shareholders.......

                  I feel the same way bud, very well stated. I miss the old BF2 :cry:

                      Try an un-install/full install of 1.3 (no incremental), but otherwise... idk

                              Try playing Project Reality, it's an incredible mod, you'll love it. It'll change the way you think about playing BF2.

                                  Word to that. PRMM rocks. I didn't dig it at first, but I gave it a chance, and after a few kickass rounds with a great squad on the night ops Karkand I was converted. It's nice popping a few rounds at a guy and seeing him being blown backward :laugh:.

                                  Back to the lecture at hand, does anyone else remember EA yapping about how good 1.3 was going to be? Didn't they claim to have some coding ace working on it?

                                      I thought it was well known that EA's staff was made up almost entirely of monkeys and a few 1st graders.

                                              To the OP ...., thank yourself lucky you can game at all .... my gfx card fryed the very same day the new patch came out .. so i cant play any games at all with a 64mb shared OB gfx what crap eh lol.

                                              Yeh i was a bf2 addict like yourself i love the game..., maybe a good job my card went down as the new patch seems to be causing quite a stink.

                                              Just be thankful for small mercies .. you could be stuck playing minesweeper or poxy online flash games.
