Is there a way to just have the +2 points or +1 points? I don't want anything else, just that.

Yes you can. Just search for "You have been Critically Wounded" in the Localization file.

    Thanks bud.

Stay tuned for a fully 1.4 compatable version of these files soon after they release the patch itself.

Ahhh, I think the old files were left in the directory that's why it wasn't working properly.

    Got it working now though.

    Nice one

be sure you have extracted the .utxt, and just the .utxt, files into the correct folder. ( ..\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Localization\English and overwrite all.

Be certain you have no copies or backups of the original files anywhere in the bf2 directory as they will overwrite the edits. Be sure the readme.txt or the gnu.txt is not in the /English/ directory.

    Ah didn't see this post.

I've downloaded the files, extracted them into the Vanilla BF2 directory. Load the game up and only the Assault Rifle text has changed. I don't get the (+1 Team Score!) message if I get a kill damage assist or if I revive someone...
Do I need to edit this myself?

    Many thanks

    FYI

There will be a new release of these files for 1.4 to fix any issues patching has on the custom files. (Using the full patch replaces 3 out of the 5 files as it stands now.)

As always, I'm working on new things to change and add to the files. If you have any suggestions on renaming a weapon, vehicle, menu button, other game text, or something you would like to see changed from my previous releases, please reply or PM/Email me with the suggestion. I'll be sure to credit any ideas I use.

Is the extra thrust attributed to the larger intakes the E/F has?
Probably, not quite sure tho, but i guess it aids it for the larger engines.
