I didn't say cable was always faster just generaly. I see speeds of 3.8 on peak and off peak times, that is taking inot account the bandwith sharind.
Being syncronous or asyncronous doen't have anythng to do with your download speed, wich is what we are talking about.
Like I said I usually see 3.8 Mb no matther the time or day.
Packet loss etc, shouldn't affect cable enough to negate the diffrence.
T1 should be more reliable than cable since it's a direct connection and should be maintained much better but cable is usually faster. Like you said full T1 is 1.54 and cable can go up to 6 (like my old Comcast) and I never saw any slow dows even at pick time and I live in Chicago. Also, it never went down for 3 years I've had it. On the other hand, I've had T1 at my office for 12 months now and it went down twice already.
But on topic - I'm not buying AF. I'm not buying BF2142. I'll go with UT2007 and QW: ET thank you very much.
When the other guy was talking about military it was either long time ago or he ment T3.
People over at EA really needs to cut back on the alcohol. What the heck are they doing these days? Great patch too! Crashes servers. Yay!! And about AF, I can't get it either..
So AF is released, but what are your opinions? Are EA just trying to whore more money?

of course they are.... if they spent 1/10th the time fixing the old
bugs and HORRIBLE SERVER BROWSER as they did trying to issue
new expansion packs we'd have a much better game..
lol i can't login on the EA site with my account , they must have blocked it since i payed for EF a week a go and i have had it since it first leaked :P
