i have a problems with new 1.30, please help

after installing patch 1.30 i left it alone came back next day and
everytime i pop in one of the battlefield 2 cds (SF also) instead of asking me to play the game
it asks me to install it
ok... close the box click on shortcut on desktop and game opens up like normal
go to a multiplayer game and instead of beginning to load the map it just exits out
i check out singleplayer and that works fine, i can see the new commander ability also works here
after a while of multiplayer exiting my game i decide to try reinstalling the patch
it says it cannot find the specific folders for the patch to work on
ok nuf of this just uninstall...
when uninstalling i assume its normally done, ask language, shows me the wizard program w/e, then just exits out
so now im stuck with a game that refuses me to play multiplayer (only reason anyone bought it) and wont let me fix it with uninstall or try reinstalling the patches

scroll to..C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield

rename this something like InstallShield2, then go back to dekstop that shud work.

My game crashes when I hit join game button after loading. Any help would be appreciated

rename this something like InstallShield2, then go back to dekstop that shud work.

the folder? cuz i did and only experienced an error

i manually uninstalled the game but now it wont install

Well I downloaded and installed BF2's
latest patch-1.03-I also installed latest
nvidia's 91.28 drivers-well I did everything
proper-romoved old-put in the new...

Now I've done some little tweaks-in BF2 movie
files to disable them by changing the file
names-to help with lag-before this new patch was installed-BF2 was working fine....


The problem is that the screen blinks 2x like
trying to start the game then it reverts back
to desktop-so I removed new drivers back to
(84.56's)old ones-still same problem....

So what could it be bugging drivers or patch?
