Special Forces and proper steps to install

I would like to get the Special Forces add on, but my BF2 is running so well with patch 1.3 that I am reluctant to do it. I need to know what sequence to load SF, and then do the patch updates. This Forum is great ! Thanks !

Install bf2 then install SF then patch

If your really intrested in it......... just installing it, will be fine, as its its own seperate "game" so to speak, within the game. You should be just fine.

But seriously, i bought it when it was released, day of. I played about 1 hour of it that day. Havent played it since. NOt one minute. Its rather..........not good. But thats just my opinion.
And judging by the amount of servers running it, and amount of intrest in it, i would say, thats about the majority's opininon.
However, that doesnt mean that much to "you"....so if your into it, buy it, install it, and you'll be fine. It wont effect your bf2.

True I have played very little of SF since it was released, everytime I went on different servers it was just people jihad jeeping, whoring, spawn raping etc, most of the maps are small so its easy for people to do this.

Just install SF and then reinstall the full 1.3 patch.

Wow, you played for a "WHOLE" hour on the day it was released. I guess that does give you plenty of time to learn the new maps and get use to the new weapons.

I have more time playing SF than vanilla. My reason is that vanilla seems so boring after playing the SF maps. But then again, that is only my opinion.

And by the way, SF "DOES" modify the main BF2 game as it updates the original to patch 1.1. Once SF is installed onto a currently patched 1.3 BF2, the 1.3 patch will need to be reinstalled.
