That's exactly one major part of the problem! The guys who originally made the game were the swedish part of DICE while the jerks who **** the game up more and more with their crappy patches & their vision what this should be like are the canadian part of DICE.
If the swedish guys would make the patches and the canadians would make BF 2142 we all probably would be happier. Imho they should fire their whole canadian division!

Each red entry in your Favorites screen increase the connect time by five seconds.

OK, for everyone saying (or thinking) that BF2 is being ditched for 2142, guess what? you're wrong. 2 seperate DICE teams are working on the games. The team working on BF2 is halfway around the world from the guys working on 2142. Don't claim that they're ditching BF2 for 2142, because they arn't. its that simple. I don't have any problems with the patch other than long connect times to the account server, but I can put up with that. Its too bad that you're having those bugs, but i don't think the game is unplayable.

godammit it doesnt matter how a guy structues his sentences, listen to the message of the thread, take a look at the sims franchise then compare what has happened to the battlefield franchise...

the thing that worries me is whether or not EA are gonna make valve fk up the next half life games cos lets face it bf2 is withering and theyve made 2142 to milk you all up some more...

with patch after patch that only ruins gameplay and stability i cant see it any better seeing as dice suually bases patch changes on the whining of generall unskilled players...

The people in DICE doing patches are not the same people doing the orginal BF2. Correct me if I am wrong, the patch is done by DICE Canada and the original BF2 is done by DICE Sweden.
