Zip over and over

The other day I was on Warlord, and went into the Palace and heard a zip line being fired, I went in to one of the rooms to see a guy firing a zip line into the floor over and over again.

Now I know he'll have been working on his badge but how the hell was he able to fire a zip line over and over again, I thought you could only use it once.

Is this some sort of hack?

Now that is sad. I know stat padding for any award is sad and boring, but this is truley the most idiotic thing to be doing. How much fun would you get from that (in a room firing zipline over and over)?

Very sad I know. I was quite narked considering I'd not even been watching my stats and thru a wierd touch of fate I went from that room onto a balcony and zip lined to the ground, on doing so I got my veteran zip.

lol I got mine legitimatly, im a roof monkey :P I dont like to be down on the ground unless I have to! a truely sad state when people need to do this just to get an award..defeats the object really

I got my grappling hook in the same way. I threw it up to the roof of a building only to have it fall on my head. So I picked it up and tried again and again and again and I still can't use the bloody thing. Got my badge and did finaly get on the roof. Zip line is a lot more fun.

Its a shame sniper doesn't have the grppling hook, cos that would be loads of fun, but then you wouldn't be able to move without being shot cos everyone would be doing it as snipers.

I was Comd on a map yesterday and couldnt understand why there were so few of the other team out capping flags. A quick scan showed about a half dozen, all at their uncap base zip lining and grappling (obviously for stats). A quick arty strike showed them they'd been spotted :) I wouldnt normally do that to an uncap flag, but in this case I thought it deserved it!

I normally try to use a grapple or zip a couple of times each map to build up the numbers.

I bet only 20% of the people that have gold zip/hook actually played normal for it..
