This is getting very close to down tools time for me.

Since 1.3 both our servers are constantly crashing.

Heres proof, patch came out Tuesday...



I ask you the BF2 community, why cant EA role back the patch ?

Same here, our [BIA] clan server crashed about 6 or 7 times yesterday that i saw. It struggles to stay up for more than 45 mins. The little bugs and changes that are being complained about are nothing compared to this, somethings gotta be done.

Same here Skunk our server crashed 4 times in an hour yesterday, its beyond a joke.

We have already shut down 1 server and looks like our no1 server is next to go.

Yes we had 4 crashes in an hour last night as well.

Just seen this notice from multiplay:

All the BF2 server, not just Multiplay ones, have just been restarted to activate a change made by GameSpy.
This change should fix the in game browser issues:

Blank server details
No server banner
Bad / invalid pings

Its also possible this may help with stability but we will be monitoring this closely.

This was late last night (GMT), so about 11 hours ago. Anyone noticed a change in stability?

yeah me and the rest of our clan always play on your server and i must say its one of the best, it was crashing all day yesterday but so was every other server, i hope they fix this fast because it must be very frustrating when your paying alot of money on your server and its down more than its up.

Umm we are experiencing more crashes to. This aint good.

Can the patch get much worse? Vehicle drops destroying artillary, C4 chucking is back, server browser screwed up, personally my FPS has dropped too.

Yes almost every server keeps crashing and crashing...

EA/DICE don't even acknowledge the crashes in their last community update, instead they just ignore us and post irrelevant stuff about the serverlist being fixed.

Who cares about the serverlist? I can use alternatives if it doesn't work!
But a crashing server is an absolute showstopper bug.

Hear Hear. This is very very true. Server stability is the MOST important feature for any patch. All the other outstanding issues i can tolerate but this server instability is just stupid.

We need our servers stable. Hot fix this patch NOW.

All the TV2 and i3D servers crashed at some point as far as I heard. So thats another 100 servers or something dead

I've stopped playing on some servers because the restarts are just stupid...sometimes within 15 minutes of each other.

What did Steam do when they released a bad patch?
