While driving home tonight I seen a car coming towards me...well i wanted to pull up and have my gunner tv missle it..so a little later on I am sitting at this 4 way intersection and i heard myself say request artillery drop quietly.....i pull in my driveway...sit there..get out of my car and i thought i heard vehicle drop your area!


I'm really tired...i think its good im going away for the weekend

I know how you feel. I once got in my car and saw two people in the street and thought 'sweet, they dont have blue names above their head! free road kills,' but then I snapped out of it. I also find myself scanning the rooftops for snipers after playing for a few hours.

My friend heard the splinter cell Chaos theory alarm sounds for a week after playing through the game in about 1 sitting lol.

Every day, when I go to work, I just want to strap C4 to my ex girlfriends car. Then wait in the bushes for her to come out, and BOOM!!! Or maybe a claymore on the steps to her front porch. Sometimes the thought of a knife attack makes me smile. But I also love when I hear the sound, and run outside to look, and see a couple of cobras leaving Dobbins. It totally reminds me of the sweet times playing BF2. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the memories.

I totally agree, I used to get it with BF1942 and Vietnam. Out of my office window theres a grassy ridge, and I keep seeing outlines of snipers out of the corner of my eye. I have to stop myself from ducking under my desk.

Also once when I'd hammered Vietnam for a few hours I was sure I'd seen a tank while driving round to my mates house. I know its not uncommon to see tanks out and about on motorways and that, but this was down an alley by a park.

This game can really mess with your head.

I know I've been flying too much because I'm convinced I could actually pilot a real helo now without even taking lessons. Rudder, collective and cyclic controls should come pretty naturally...

... of course, loops can wait. :laugh:

I thought I was the only one how had these thoughts. I no longer see water towers, cranes, constuctions sites or power plant smoke stacks in the same way. It doesn't help that I drive by Camp Pendelton once in a while.

Sometimes if I can see the troops flying helos or running drills on tanks or APCs, I am very tempted to park my car on the side of the freeway and go join them. Then reallity kicks in and I know that respawning would not be an option....Game Over!
