Just wondering about all the bf2 balance and ****.

Do you ever wish that BH whoring was back? Because I do i had so much fun cruising around in the black hawk trying to keep it alive while everyone on the map was trying to shoot us down. And when I wasnt doing any BH whoring it never bothered me that other people were, it offered the possibility of snaging a sudden six kills.I remember hanging out by the arty on kubra and having my friends fly over throwing ammo packs down to refill my C4. Or on zaiter wetlands where two people took the blakhawk and the other 2 took the attack chopper and flew escort for the blackhawk. I think that I had more fun BH whoring, and saw more team work during this period of the game than I have ever seen since, now the BH and every other transport chopper is a flying death trap and this tactic is totally gone from the game.

I know everyone feels this way about some tactic the EA has removed from the game and I just wonder why they did it maybe it bugged some people but it never bothered me even when other people were doing it to me.

The only tactic EA has removed that bugged me was bunny hopping and dolphin diving and for the most part these are still here.

one thing althought its not really whoring is baseraping. i dont like baseraping but now some of the most fun i have is sneaking to the enemys base and putiing c4 on there helis and tanks. but now some server kick for kills at main bases

If the servers are kicking for this you should report them to EA. The Rules of Engagement (ROE) for running a ranked server say that weapons and vehicles may not be restricted in any way. Ranked servers can't make their own rules.

you are wrong. While they can't restrict vehicles, it's prefectly legal to have a rule that says no attacking uncaps unless destroying commander assets.

The factor most affecting balance on maps is - Good players.
Get one side with an elite attack heli pair, elite bomber crew and elite fighter pilot and the other side just get destroyed even if they have good players themselves.

AP_piano295, I disagree, I still remember those indestructible chopers on Sharqi P. I rember how one noob, managed to take a chopper in the beginning of the round, I knew the game was over even before we started to fight... Cause the next thing you know, is our chopper down, and enemy chopper flying around tower killing everybody in the range, and who tryes to get in the chopper to fight back. Then they steal our chopper, fly around and cape every single flag except the TV station... And to the end of the round you have that major base-raping thing, and there is no way to take them down, AA is useless, and no chopper. Right, everebody on our team ends up with horrible K/D, I had like 5/20 got my purple star :\ So next round I had to fight that damn enemy chopper every time, and I know if I don't out team will lose, I didn't like it, that guy was just annoying, and wery good to... I prefer to play infantry, but I didn't had choise because of damn base-rapers.

And a after the patch, on the same server, the same annoying, miserable, guy, tying to pull out the same thing, they managed it 3 time, no problem we taked them down 3 times in a row, and then I just stopd care about whores, and enjoyd game as infantry. Now no mater how good you are, you not invincible in the chopper, the chopper alone can't win the game, and thats is more tactical for the game then ever before...

Yes, that is in the ROE, but a ranked server does not have to adhere to that particular rule.

If you read here: http://www.bfroe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171, you'll notice that that particular rule falls under this entry:

3 LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) RANKED SERVER RULES MODIFICATIONS

These are rules that are not enforced upon in EA’s public ranked servers but may be modified in privately rented ranked servers. These rules are decided by clan administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.

This would include but not limited to:
§ Artillery fire or bombing runs on main (uncapturable) bases may be prohibited.
§ Prolonged or sustained attacks on main (uncapturable) bases (i.e. spawncamping).
§ Using the Transport Helicopters to take flags (Blackhawk whoring or flag hopping).
§ Impersonating clan members.
§ Using C4 on jeeps, or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles.
§ Clans may change or customise rules, provided they don’t violate the above ROE rules.

Before you go spouting off about how it's against the ROE, maybe you should actually READ it.
