Mid-Air Collision W/ Jet

I was playing Dalian Plant as Chinese and was flying the J10. I locked and F35 and he managed to make it over the carrier and bailed out. Now when this happens, I always try and hit them w/ my jet. I believe I've done this before and they did die, but I'm thinking it was because I blew up their jet as soon as they bailed... it was pretty close to my jet.

However, when I tried hitting him this time he splatters on my cockpit and MY PLANE explodes killing both of us and HE gets the kill. lol

Anyone else experience this lovely event?

That's because parachutes in BF2 are made of titanium.

I could've sworn I hit the guy and not his chute, but I could be wrong.
Oh well, I guess I learned my lesson haha. I should have at least got the kill. Bunch of crap.

Yeah, I tried to ram the parachute guy and died too. They got the kill point.
