If the server you are looking at or playing in has been restarted since the gamespy protocol was rolled back, then the browser should work fine. It will not work for those servers that have not restarted.

I also have not had any serious problems with the 1.3 patch until today. I mostly play SF (about 99.99% of the time) and I do not see any problems there. I played the vanilla bf2 last night with no problems. This morning, I have had a CTD twice now when trying to join the map that has just loaded up.

So, I tried SF again to see if I CTD there also, but nope...SF runs just fine.

Both times that I did CTD on vanilla BF was loading Karkland.

Other than that, my game play is just fine.

Due to CTD on every map load for me, I can't even play bf2 at all until next patch...

I haven't had a chance to fully test it...but last night...for the first time ever...I had a CTD after loading a map. This better not be frequent. Moreover, the browser is at a crawl. The last time my browser was like this was prior to any patches.

I never had problems before. I'm running all my settings on High.

Since they have to restart the servers to rollback it shouldnt' be a problem. Since they're crashing a few times every hour it should get fixed in no time.

Is that sarcasm becuase im kinda confused by what u mean. Do you mean that because they crash so often EA will have to patch soon or are you being sarcastic and saying that since they crash so often

Server browser didnt work for me for 2 days then EA and gamespy fixed it and its fine.

My server list is fine. THe only issues i have are from 1.22 (horrible lag all through the game. Even the EA logo is laggy)

I've only played a couple of rounds with the new patch but I didn't have any issues at all. Other than I'm still getting hammered by J-10s when I'm in an F-35. I'm just not that good of a pilot yet.
