OK I've got 1.3 working and was playing the game last night for a few hours. Then this morning when I try and join various servers, I get the join game button then when I click the game CTD.
Another clan member is having the same issues.
This has to be the worst patch in EA's history:evil:
I once managed to join the game but a few seconds later the game did the same. I completely re installed BF2 and SF yesterday and applied the full patch as I was having other issues with the game (see my first ever post). My friend used the incremental.
Yeah I have to install the patch again everytime to play, then once i restart I start getting CTD issues. But I managed to solve it temporarily by ending a service, type 'services.msc' in run and stop the service 'windows zero config'. I heard this in a thread earlier and it worked surprising enough.
I tried to re-install the game and it runs pretty good but it still crashes sometime after playing for like 45 min which suckes because the time you played accounted for nothing...EA needs to do something about this...
omg dude same thing with me,i reninstalled cause it kept crashing to desktop when i clikced join game after loadingand it crashes,so i reinstalled and now i cant join like anyservers says like i have to use unmodified version or something like that,i dont get it errrr
