My last ribbon I cannot get it....

Ok other than war college ribbon, I need heli combat ribbon. I for some reason find this impossible to get. I play wake and try and get the cobra to go get 19 kills but for some reason I can't do it because I usually have a crappy pilot or if I am a pilot I have a crappy gunner and I get shot down by enemy heli TV guided missile. How do you guys get these 19 kills in helicopter??/

Any tips?

WCR no longer requires you to have 3 : 1 W/L ratio. Its just 200 wins, 100 hours played as commander and 25.000 commander points.

The Heli ribbon shouldnt be that difficult when you fly the MEC chopper on Sharqi.

oh if ur good with TVing then I can help, every time I fly I stay high and I observ the field, if I find an enemie vehicle I turn towards it so the gunner can TV it

Sharqi + MEC chopper = ownage

Just make sure you're the gunner and go strafe the tv station and the like. Whenever I am in a helo say on ghost town or sharqi or whatever I can usually get 20-40 kills IAR .

for TVing I recommand OCS, wide open map........easy to get tv kills, I got over 80 points(TV only) a couple of days ago on it

I got mine while gunning for a clan mate... we pinned a squad full of hoppers and medics. I litterally managed to score my 19 kills in one encounter just by punding these guys as they revived and respawned off eachother.

Since that's gone... um... make a friend?

like someone said above..sharqi +mec +flying over to the tv station is a easy way o get it..when my and my buddy get the mec chopper..i usually get about 60-70 kills in that round

I like you chopper guys camping the TV station. I killed 3 choppers yesterday, 2 with the M1A1. So just hover there and line me up on the TV missle thing, meanwhile Ill be doing a little lineing up of my own. Heh, heh, heh. . . . . . .Red

just play commander and sit in a vancant transport chopper while you arty 19 ppl. Works well on some on the larger maps - where the transport choppers are forgotten about after the initial rush.

If you need a good pilot to fly you around and line you up for kills, I'll do it for you: ask around, you'll find a lot of people to vouch for me.

I understand the frustration of trying to get some of these ribbons/medals, especially when hindered by teammates or circumstances. Trust me, one round together and you'll have your ribbon...

That's why I stay behind TV, and high enough where you cannot shoot at me. :laugh:

I got 67 kills the other day, including the tank and all vehicles near there.

I played sharqi last night and was mec pilot for most of the roound. The gunner got 30 of so kills and we shot the US chopper down afew times.

You basically need a good pilot for the badge. One that can hover and go at the correct speeds.
